Hi, I’m Amy Short.

I translate residency by investment complexity into lawful, strategic, well structured global access for U.S. clients. I focus on implications, not promotion. I navigate this market with two distinct perspectives:

  • The Immigrant: I personally navigated Portuguese immigration and naturalization.
  • The Professional: I am a candidate for an MS in Taxation and hold the Series 7 registration.

The Regulated Difference I am a regulated professional in the U.S. While many agents operate with a sales-first mindset, I operate under the rigorous ethical standards required of a Series 7 licensee. 

Too many U.S. investors are advised by offshore consultants and fund sponsors with misaligned incentives. Their goal is to capture your capital. My goal is to protect your interests.

Foreign lawyers can guide your immigration, but they cannot see your U.S. blind spots. Rarely do these advisors understand the IRC (Internal Revenue Code) or SEC jurisdiction. It is easy for them to give advice that suits the offshore equation yet causes irreversible harm to a U.S. taxpayer.
